Artists may not have the interest, time, skills, or tools for creating high quality images. PhotonJohn does. PhotonJohn helps artists create high quality image files for documenting their creations, submitting applications to juried shows, producing printed promotional materials, and sharing artwork images with family and friends. PhotonJohn works with artist and pays attention to details, so the results of the artwork photography studio session meets or exceeds expectations of the artist. Artwork photography is done in the PhotonJohn studio located in Portland, Oregon.

Deliverables

PhotonJohn delivers the following for each studio session:
  • Print proofs of the unprocessed images are printed to take with you at the end of the studio session.
  • Your private Web site is created. Here you can view images from the studio session shortly after processing by PhotonJohn.
  • Images may be downloaded as JPEG image files from your private Web site. TIFF files of your processed images will be made available on your private Web site upon request.
  • Several sizes of high quality prints produced by a professional photofinishing lab may be ordered online from the private Web site.

Price

Studio time is $95.00 / Hour. There are no extra charges for image processing in the digital darkroom, for your private Web site, or image downloads. The prices for high quality prints produced by a professional photofinishing lab are available on your private Web site. The prices for prints are determined by size of print and paper selection. The price range is from about $1.30 for a 4”x5” printed on regular paper to about $50.00 for a 20”x30” printed on metallic paper. Calendars, standout displays, and canvas wraps are also available. Shipping fees are flat and stay the same whether you are ordering one small print or a number of large heavy items. Please see the Ordering Prints Online document for more details.

The PhotonJohn photography studio is using contemporary digital photography techniques and tools in creating high quality images. PhotonJohn is using Internet Web technology enabling clients to view artwork images, download image files, and order prints.
